Get to Know the Team Behind Your Treatment
Your experience at Medico connects the clinical team, laboratory work, patient coordination and the handover to continuing care. Explore how those parts fit together and what to discuss before choosing your treatment plan.

02
Planning and laboratory work
Ask how the assessment, digital records and restoration design are coordinated through your treatment.
03
Continuity after your visit
Agree the handover, follow-up contacts and written aftercare arrangements before returning home.
Our Clinic in Istanbul
Istanbul is the centre of Medico Clinic’s treatment services. The clinic has 10 treatment rooms, an in-house CAD/CAM laboratory and a ten-doctor team with the specialties listed in our doctors directory.
The clinic’s treatment range includes dental implants from Straumann, Bego, Hiossen and Anthogyr; Emax porcelain and Monolithic Zirconia options; Hollywood Smile and full smile makeovers; All-on-4 and All-on-6; and surgical dentistry.
A Named Aftercare Network
The clinic works with Kensington Dental Studio in London and an active aftercare partner in Pennsylvania. These partners are part of a journey that starts with treatment in Istanbul and continues with coordinated follow-up after travel.
Partner services, appointments, coverage and costs must be confirmed for the individual plan. Bangkok is not presented as an active location until its operational status is confirmed.
Technology You Can Ask About
Available equipment includes CBCT 3D imaging, the 3Shape TRIOS 5 intraoral scanner, Digital Smile Design, Redon CAD/CAM, Straumann n!ce Zirconia and a 25x root canal microscope.
Care for Patients Travelling From Abroad
Medico Clinic reports having treated more than 28,000 patients from over 40 nationalities. The team speaks six languages. For a person travelling from another country, the practical questions often begin before the first appointment: how to discuss the assessment, how to understand the proposal and how to plan follow-up.
The patient journey brings those stages together, from a free online consultation through the visit to Istanbul and the aftercare handover. The individual plan should make the responsibilities at each stage clear, including which arrangements are confirmed and which depend on an examination.
A Connected Clinical and Laboratory Conversation
The clinic’s named equipment and in-house laboratory are resources for the treatment team. Ask how the proposed work will be assessed, specified and reviewed. A scan, a material choice and a laboratory process each answer a different part of the planning question.
When discussing a restoration, request a clear explanation of what is intended for each tooth. This gives you a basis for asking about the clinician involved, the selected material and the decisions that remain before treatment can proceed.
Information to Help You Take the Next Step
Use the treatment guides to explore the category of care you are considering, then visit the doctors and locations sections. The planning guides explain how to prepare for the first conversation and how to compare the practical parts of a proposed journey.
The aim is to make the next discussion more useful. You should know what to ask, what information to request in writing and which details require a personal clinical recommendation. Contact the team when you are ready to discuss your own questions.
Get to Know Your Care Team
| Part of your visit | Useful discussion | Information to keep |
|---|---|---|
| Clinical assessment | Who diagnoses the concern and explains the options? | The treating clinician and the agreed plan. |
| Restoration design | Who coordinates your preferences with the laboratory? | The specification and the review stages. |
| Patient coordination | Who explains appointment or travel changes? | The named contact and confirmed itinerary. |
| Continuing care | Who arranges reviews and communicates with a receiving dentist? | The handover details and written scope. |
Bring Your Priorities Into the Conversation
Tell the team what matters most to you, whether that is managing a particular dental concern, understanding alternatives or organising treatment around travel. Ask for a clear explanation of the findings, the proposed stages and any points that remain uncertain.
Keep copies of the plan you agreed and of later changes. That makes the discussion easier to follow when several appointments, clinicians or locations are involved.
More Questions, Answered
How can I learn about the clinician for my case?
Ask who would assess and treat you, and request the relevant professional information for the work being proposed. The team directory can help you begin that conversation.
How does technology fit into treatment planning?
Ask the clinician which equipment or records are relevant to your case and what they help determine. A technology list is most useful when it is connected to an explained clinical purpose.
